Melasti is the Balinese procession from mountain to sea, carrying what’s sacred down to the water. A resort on a cliff is already standing in the middle of that journey. A stay here follows the same descent: down through the arrival pavilion, along the corridors, to an ocean-level table called Sagara. The wayfinding carries it in Balinese script, and the small things keep the tone, like a Do Not Disturb tag that simply says “Please, later.” It began with the ritual and worked outward, so it wouldn’t make sense anywhere else.
